  1. In my research and opinion, growth aids are a waste of time and money. Hair grows on its own schedule, normally about 1/2 inch every month for healthy hair. There are some things that can slow down the growth cycle, but nothing escalates it. This is a huge topic for black women, especially women who think that natural hair grows faster than relaxed hair. In actuality, it doesn't grow faster, it's just catching up to it's normal healthy growth cycle.

  2. From my own experience, I'd have to say yes. There are supplements that aid in producing faster and healthier hair growth. I drank Horsetail Tea and took Biotin supplements two summers ago and my hair FLOURISHED. But nothing can replace good ol' daily water intake and a healthy diet.
