Ahhh! Sometimes that’s just how you feel, like screaming, like just kicking everything because you’re stressed. But it really doesn’t have to be that way. Today I want to share my top five ways of totally kicking stress to the curb!
1Read a book
I love to read, and whether it’s reading comedy, something romantic, something that uplifts – reading always helps to relax me.
2Listen to music
This is one of the easiest ways to destress for me. If I am sad or feeling antsy, I just listen to soothing relaxing music and it always helps me calm down. I highly recommend you try out music when you’re on the go.
3Chew on RESCUE Pastilles
These are awesome!! 100% Natural/Homeopathic and chewable, they are safe for the entire family. The RESCUE Pastilles were developed by a doctor and ensures that their isn’t any habit-forming or side effects. I really like these because it’s almost like chewing gummy candy. They come in this carry-around tin can and they can be found in a variety of stores such as CVS, Walgreens, Whole Foods, Sprouts and just about anywhere that you find your natural products. If you want to give it a try and save some money while you’re at it, check out the Pastilles and the other RESCUE products here. I would highly recommend these to the person who’s on the go, or need something quick, safe and fast acting that’s chewable. RESCUE also comes in a mouth spray, and some other forms, so definitely check out the available selection. They also come in yummy lemon flavors too and an extensive range of products (click the image below to see full range). I have the Blackcurrant flavor and it’s delish!
4Stretch & Nap
Nothing beats easy peasy stretches to just relax your body. I enjoy doing quick stretches and also taking a much needed nap! Kids don’t know how easy they have it (seeing they get allotted nap times – I wish we adults still had those).
5Do Something Creative
One of my fav ways destress is to find something creative to do. Since I am a Visual Designer, I love to doodle, or craft up something digitally or even just go crochet. Basically, finding something that I know I enjoy helps relieve the tension.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
So tell me, how do you destress and unwind? What are your favorite ways to do so?
