Introducing the tartelette 2 in bloom palette – featuring 12 brand new, never-before-seen shades.

The colder season is upon and protection is going to be our natural hair’s best friend! Staying hydrated, ensuring our tresses are getting deep treatments and keeping those ends up and off our shirts is the only way to beat the winter blues.

I found this awesome DIY Deep Treatment Video that I am sure you’ll love as much as I did. It’s a bit like my aloe+castor oil pre-poo I did a while back, but with some key tips I found really helpful too.

Here’s what you’ll need to create your own natural hair deep treatment:

  • Aloe Vera Gel
  • Castor Oil
  • Coconut Oil
  • Applicator Bottle

You can combine the aloe vera gel with the castor oil, coconut oil and any other oil of your choosing into the applicator bottle. Thoroughly shake it before using. Sometimes it’s a great tip to warm the oils before mixing, this will act as an hot oil treatment with the added benefits of moisture from the aloe vera gel.

  1. Hi Sasha, I just wanted to introduce myself very quickly, my name is Adna from London and my blog is about beauty and makeup, we are on the same group at the SITS Girls. I love you blog. Keep up with the good work. XX

  2. Hello Sasha,

For the winter I use a clea cellophane or Henna to deep treat me hair. My hair also loves the LOC method! I use water, Argan oil and then “Eden Bodyworks” Shea and Coconut Cream to lock in the moisture throughout the year. This works great anytime during the year

    • Hola! Yep the LOC method and the LCO method work great! I haven’t tried Argan oil yet or the eden’s bodyworks, but I would love to. Glad it’s all working out for you! :)
